The Insight Subluxation Station uses three different technologies to assess nervous system function:
- Thermography: This technology measures temperature differences on the skin surface, which can indicate areas of inflammation and nerve irritation. Infrared sensors are used to detect these temperature differences, which are then displayed on an IPAD screen.
- Surface Electromyography (sEMG): This technology measures the electrical activity of muscles to determine whether they are functioning properly. sEMG can detect muscle imbalances and areas of muscle tension that may be contributing to nervous system dysfunction.
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV): This technology measures the variability in time between each heart beat to determine the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. HRV can be an indicator of overall nervous system function. It also helps us measure how well the patient’s nervous system is adapting to their overall stress load.
The Insight Subluxation Station provides chiropractors with objective data about a patient’s nervous system function, allowing them to develop a personalized treatment plan to promote optimal health and well-being.
